A Remote Paradise: Meet the Cerrado

Nestled at the heart of the Brazilian Cerrado, Pousada Trijunção offers an unparalleled experience for nature lovers and conservation enthusiasts. This exclusive lodge, located at the meeting point of three states — Bahia, Goiás, and Minas Gerais — serves as a gateway to one of the most biodiverse and least explored biomes in Brazil. The Cerrado is often referred to as the “cradle of waters” due to its role in supplying major river basins, and it is home to an astonishing variety of flora and fauna, many of which are found nowhere else on Earth.

With its deep commitment to sustainability and wildlife preservation, Pousada Trijunção seamlessly blends comfort with conservation. Guests can enjoy beautifully designed accommodations that reflect the natural surroundings, gourmet cuisine inspired by local ingredients, and exclusive experiences led by expert guides. One of the highlights of a stay here is the chance to observe the elusive Maned Wolf, a symbol of the Cerrado, through the renowned Onçafari rewilding project.

Birdwatchers will also find a paradise, with rare endemic species such as the Horned Sungem and the Collared Crescentchest. Whether exploring on foot, by canoe, or in a safari vehicle, every moment at Trijunção is an immersion into the wild beauty of this unique ecosystem, making it an unforgettable destination for travelers seeking both adventure and relaxation.
