Itinerary

Day 1 | arrival in Lima
Upon arrival at the Lima International Airport, you will be greeted with a name sign and escorted in a private transfer to Hotel B, a stylish boutique hotel in Barranco, Lima’s bohemian art district. The afternoon is yours to explore, whether strolling through the neighborhood’s vibrant streets, admiring street art, or visiting the renowned Dedalo Art Gallery.

In the evening, you will be whisked away to Huaca Pucllana, one of Lima’s most iconic restaurants, for a welcome dinner featuring classic Peruvian flavors, all set against the breathtaking backdrop of a pre-Incan archaeological site.
Day 2 | Lima
Lima’s reputation as the culinary capital of South America is well-earned, and today you will experience it firsthand. Begin the day with a tasting of organic Peruvian coffee at a spot ranked among the World’s 100 Best Coffee Shops. Next, explore the famed Larco Museum, home to an extensive collection of pre-Columbian artifacts.
An interactive lunch at Limaná Restaurant follows, where you will craft your own ceviche, enjoy a Pisco Sour demonstration, and indulge in a four-course tasting menu with wine pairing. The afternoon is dedicated to discovering Lima’s historic downtown, including San Martin Plaza, Plaza de Armas, and the Lima Cathedral. Before returning to the hotel, savor some of Peru’s most beloved desserts.

The evening is at leisure for you to continue exploring the city or relax at the hotel.
Day 3 | Lima
Today, you will dive even deeper into the flavors of Peruvian cuisine. Start with a traditional breakfast at Café de Lima, then head to the Santa Cruz Market to sample exotic fruits and marvel at the vibrant local produce. A stroll along the Malecon de Miraflores provides stunning views of Lima’s coastline and skyline before you engage in a hands-on cooking class with Chef Orlando in Barranco. Here, you will prepare three delicious Peruvian courses paired with natural Peruvian wine and Pisco from Bodega Murga.
A guided walking tour of Barranco follows, including a visit to an esteemed art gallery such as Jade Rivera or Grada. Conclude the afternoon with a Peruvian chocolate tasting, featuring Amazonian cacao from Ucayali, where you will learn about the entire chocolate-making process.
In the evening, you will be transported to the elegant colonial mansion of Casa Moreyra, now home to Astrid y Gastón, one of Lima’s most acclaimed restaurants. Under the guidance of renowned chef Gastón Acurio, Peruvian cuisine has gained worldwide recognition.

Tonight, you will enjoy a custom-designed tasting menu with expertly paired wines, marking a perfect culinary finale to your journey in Peru.
Day 4 | Lima – departure
This morning, bid farewell to Lima as a private transfer takes you to the airport for your international departure.

Cancellation and refund policies
- All cancellations and trip change requests must be made in writing by mail or by email and received, and acknowledged by SouthQuest.
- All cancellations requested up to 61 calendar days prior to departure have non-refundable security deposits unless SouthQuest is able to renegotiate the terms with the service providers. That is why it is important that cancellations are announced as early as possible.
- Cancellations made with 60 calendar days or less prior to group starts are assessed a cancellation fee of 100% of the trip price, including domestic flights, extensions, and extra services such as hotel nights
