Day 1 | Arrival In Manaus

Arrive in Manaus, the gateway to the world’s largest rainforest, where Brazil’s vibrant culture and breathtaking natural beauty converge. This city, set in the heart of the vast Amazonas state, is your perfect introduction to the country’s enchanting diversity — an intoxicating blend of European, African, and Indigenous influences. From its sun-kissed beaches to the depths of the lush Amazon, Brazil offers a kaleidoscope of experiences, and Manaus serves as the ideal starting point for your journey into this captivating region.

Upon arrival, your private driver will greet you and drive you to your accommodation in the center of Manaus.

Day 2 | Manaus – Amazon Cruise

Your adventure begins with a stylish welcome aboard the Untamed Amazon. Savor refreshing drinks and elegant appetizers as we set sail along the iconic Negro River. A gourmet lunch follows, crafted with Amazonian flavors and international finesse.
In the early afternoon, we visit one of the Amazon’s most famous spectacles: the Meeting of Waters, where the contrasting colors of the Rio Negro and the Rio Solimões run side by side without blending — a natural phenomenon that fascinates scientists and travelers alike.

Continuing, we venture into the Janauary Ecological Park, exploring by canoe through flooded forests rich with wildlife and colossal water lilies.

As dusk falls, the igapós glow in soft light, creating a surreal landscape. We end the day with an elegant dinner on board as we sail deeper into the Rio Negro.

Day 3 | Amazon Cruise

The morning unfolds with a refined breakfast served as we cruise toward history. We’ll visit the Seringal Museum, a restored rubber plantation, offering a vivid glimpse into the Amazon’s rubber boom era and the lives of the workers who shaped it.
Afterward, we navigate to the RDS Tumbira, a sustainable development reserve that balances traditional life and conservation. Here, you’ll meet community members and learn about innovative projects protecting the forest.

In the afternoon, we anchor at an idyllic river beach — a perfect moment for a leisurely swim in the Negro’s dark, warm waters.

With a cocktail in hand, watch the sun melt into the horizon, casting golden reflections across the river. Later, an exquisite dinner awaits you aboard.

Day 4 | Amazon Cruise

Wake early to witness a captivating Amazon sunrise, where mist and light transform the jungle into a dreamscape. After breakfast, we embark on a trek through a riverside community’s trails, discovering medicinal plants, local wildlife, and the intricate relationship between people and the forest.

Following lunch, prepare for an extraordinary canoe expedition along the Aruau River. Paddle quietly through secluded channels, spotting monkeys, caimans, and exotic birds, fully immersed in the untouched wilderness.

Day 5 | Amazon Cruise – Manaus – Departure

After breakfast, your morning is crowned by a heartwarming encounter with the Amazon’s pink river dolphins, icons of local myth and beauty.

Next, we visit the Tuyuka indigenous community, where you will experience ancient cultural traditions and hear stories passed down through generations. It’s a rich and inspiring exchange, connecting you deeply with the living soul of the Amazon.

Returning aboard, we enjoy a final lunch before our navigation back to Manaus, where your elegant journey concludes, leaving you with memories etched in the spirit of the rainforest.

Payment Policy:

  • The deposit of 30% will be requested after the booking confirmation. It’s a guarantee of reservation and is not refunded in case of cancellation of the trip for any reason (except travel restriction to the destination due to the pandemic – in this case the tour can be rescheduled). The deposit amount will be deducted from the remainder of the payment.
  • Balance due 60 days prior arrival

Cancellation and refund policies

  • All cancellations and trip change requests must be made in writing by mail or by email and received, and acknowledged by SouthQuest.
  • All cancellations requested up to 61 calendar days prior to departure have non-refundable security deposits unless SouthQuest is able to renegotiate the terms with the service providers. That is why it is important that cancellations are announced as early as possible.
  • Cancellations made with 60 calendar days or less prior to group starts are assessed a cancellation fee of 100% of the trip price, including domestic flights, extensions, and extra services such as hotel nights
